January Message Series
Three Sides, One Story
The short letter to Philemon offers a powerful picture of the Kingdom of God at work in conflict resolution and restoration. Through the lives of Philemon, Onesimus, and Paul, we see how grace transforms relationships, hearts, and communities. Every story of reconciliation has multiple sides — and each one reveals a part of God’s redemptive work. Together, they show how the Kingdom of God heals what the world breaks.
January 4th – Philemon – The Wronged One: Even when we’ve been wronged, we have a Kingdom role to play in the process of restoration. Our reaction can either pave the way for reconciliation or deepen the divide.
January 11th – Onesimus – The Runaway: Faith in Christ doesn’t erase our past, but it gives us the courage and character to face it with integrity. Integrity involves a return to make things right.
January 18th – Paul – The Peacemaker: Every believer is called to the ministry of reconciliation – standing in the gap to help restore relationships and reflect Christ’s redemptive love. As followers of Jesus, we are called to stand in the middle for the sake of reconciliation.
