Job Posting: Administrative Assistant of Connections
(Part-Time 20-25 hours per week)
Impact Christian Church is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant of Connections to support the development, organization, and tracking of people’s journey through our Core Steps. This role will play a key part in ensuring that individuals are connected to ministry teams and growth groups, and that volunteers are supported and scheduled efficiently. As the Administrative Assistant of Connections, you will also help resource and organize various
ministry teams and assist with follow-up efforts to ensure that every person feels seen, valued, and engaged.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, outgoing, and comfortable with office duties such as data tracking, communication, and scheduling. This is a part-time position (20-25 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities Include:

Attendance and Volunteer Tracking:
-
Update and oversee attendance for church services, Impact Kids, and Impact Students.

Maintain volunteer scheduling and roles using Planning Center Services.

Communication and Resource Management:
-
Provide clear communication to ministry leaders and coordinate weekly volunteer schedules.

Organize and manage volunteer onboarding processes.

Connection and Follow-Up:
-
Help connect individuals to their next steps along the Core Steps path.

Manage guest follow-up communication and assist with maintaining visitor profiles in the church database.

Support for Family and Facilities Ministry:
-
Assist with administrative tasks related to family ministry events and facilities management.

Qualifications:
-
2+ years of administrative experience, ideally in a church or non-profit setting.

Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).

Experience with Planning Center or other church management software is preferred.
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

Paid Internship Posting: Summer 2025 Kids & Student Ministry Internship (Paid)
Location: Moon Township, PA | Impact Christian Church | impactpittsburgh.com
Compensation: $2,700 Stipend | 10 Weeks | Part-Time (15-20 hrs/week)
Impact Christian Church located in Moon Township, PA is seeking two paid summer interns to serve in Kids & Student Ministries for 10 weeks. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on ministry experience, develop leadership skills, and serve alongside experienced ministry leaders.
Internship Responsibilities

Sunday Mornings: Serve in Kids Ministry and connect with student volunteers.

Student Ministry Engagement: Assist with summer programs and discipleship.

Tuesdays: Attend staff meetings, Family Ministry meetings, and assist with planning.

The Landing (Community Hub & Cafe): Serve a few hours each week as a Landing Host.

Major Events & Special Programs:

MEGA Week (June 23-27, evenings) – Required

Middle School Camp (June 6-10) & High School Camp (June 16-20) – Optional but encouraged

Duration: 10 weeks (with flexibility for pre-planned vacations)
