House Build 2024

Join us for our Help Build Hope House Build on Saturday, September 7th. We have many different roles for you to choose from. Please make sure you select the role where you wish to help.

Here is a list of the different roles. This year, we are asking those who sign up as Builders to pay $20 or $40 for a family, to be part of the House Build to help pay for the cost of the materials to build the house.

Builders –All ages. You will be working in teams to build the house walls on Saturday. Bring work gloves. No tools or training needed.

First Aid Crew – Help with any bumps & scrapes that occur on Saturday.

Guest Services – You will help with checking everyone in that is helping with the build on Saturday.

Kitchen Crew – Prepare and serve meals on Friday and/or Saturday for those working to build houses.

Water Boys/Girls – Kids will deliver water and snacks from wagons to the workers on Saturday.  *One parent, guardian, or teen sibling per family will need to stay with their Water Boy(s)/Girl(s) and should register as “Parent or Guardian of Water Boy/Girl.”

Clean Up Crew – Clean up the building and parking lot once the houses are complete on Saturday for our Sunday services.

Parking Lot Crew – Direct volunteers to parking lot areas on Saturday.

Nursery Crew – Supervise our kids ages 2 and under while their families participate in the build on Saturday.

Loading Crew – Disassemble and load the houses onto the truck, panel by panel on Sunday.

Financial Sponsor – There is also an option to register as a sponsor. This means you can support the House Build event financially even though you are not able to attend in person. Please consider this option as it will still make a huge difference.

All ages and abilities are welcome at the House Build. A nursery is provided for those 2 years and younger. Please register for everyone that will be attending (including those in the nursery).

If you are planning to be on our Building Crew please remember to bring your hammer, gloves, and safety glasses. If you don’t have any, don’t worry, we’ll have extra.

There is also an option to register as a sponsor. This means you can support the House Build event financially even though you are not able to attend in person. Please consider this option as it will still make a huge difference.
